Short recordings, played once, with distractors designed to make you hesitate. We work on note-taking and quick elimination.
One listening onlyVaried texts and a tight clock. The difficulty is not vocabulary, it is finding the information without reading everything.
Selective readingThree tasks in a row, including a role play and an argument. We rehearse the structure until it becomes a reflex.
Structure and paceA message, then an argumentative text. The marker looks for clear structure and connectors, more than brilliant style.
Plan and connectorsTen or twenty hours, depending on the time you have left.
The placement test is free. It says where you stand, and whether the exam you are aiming for is realistic in the time you have.
No point revising what you already pass. The hours go where you lose marks.
Note-taking, standard plan, managing the clock. That is what turns into marks on the day.
Registration for the exam is done with an accredited centre. We prepare you, we do not administer the exam.

What people ask before the exam.
Do you administer the TCF or the TEF?
No. We prepare you for these exams, but we do not administer them and we issue no official results. Registration is done with an accredited centre.
Do you offer mock exams?
No. We work through the tasks and the method paper by paper, and your teacher marks your work, but we do not reproduce the full exam under real conditions.
Ten or twenty hours, how do I choose?
It depends on the time you have left and the gap between your level and the one you are aiming for. The free placement test settles it straight, even if that means telling you the date is too close.
How does this differ from the courses by level?
The level path moves you forward in French, from A1 to B2. TCF and TEF preparation does not raise your level: it teaches you to deliver, in the exam format, what you already know. The two can be combined.
Can I reach B2 in twenty hours?
No, and nobody should promise you that. Twenty hours are for working on method and recovering the marks you lose on form. Moving up a full level takes several blocks of lessons.
Are the lessons held in person?
No. All French training, exam preparation included, is delivered online, anywhere in Quebec, and always one-on-one.
