- In a block: payment is made in two instalments, the first at the start, the second halfway through the hours
- Accepted methods: card or Interac
06Hours, blocks and refunds
- Block hours do not expire
- In tutoring, they are transferable and shareable between several children in the same family and across several subjects
- A started block is not refundable. If you are hesitant to commit, start by the hour and move to a block once you are sure
To be confirmed What happens to the remaining hours of an interrupted block, notably in case of relocation, prolonged illness or discontinuation of the service, will be stated here.
07Cancellation and absence
You pay only for the hours actually taken.
To be confirmed The notice expected to cancel or postpone a session, and how an unannounced absence is handled, will be stated here.
08Our commitments
- A criminal record check is part of the recruitment of every tutor
- A written report is sent to you after every tutoring session
- In French training, each 20-hour block includes an end-of-block test; the certificate signed by the director is issued once the full level is complete, that is four blocks
- We call you back the same day and tell you straight if our service does not suit your situation
09What we do not guarantee
We commit to the quality of the support, never to a result.
- We guarantee no grade, no pass and no admission, including for private school entrance exams
- We never invigilate an exam and we issue no official results. We prepare you; the exam takes place elsewhere
- We are affiliated with no school, public or private, and influence no admission decision
- We administer neither the TCF nor the TEF and do not offer mock exams
- We offer no remedial education and no university-level support
- In-home tutoring depends on the tutors available in your area; if none is, we offer online tutoring at the same rate
10Your part
- Provide a quiet working environment and, online, a working connection and device
- Let us know as early as possible if you cannot attend
- Treat the tutor or teacher with respect. We reserve the right to end an engagement in the event of inappropriate behaviour
- Not to approach a tutor directly outside the framework of our services
11Personal information
