The Common Final Examination, prepared with CPAs
Three days, three different demands. What separates those who pass is not the volume of knowledge: it is the ability to spot the issues, prioritise them and deal with them in the time allowed.
$100 an hour or $950 for a 10-hour block. Always one-on-one.

Sessions are delivered by chartered professional accountants.
In May and September. We work backwards from your date.
Your cases are marked the way a marker would, not merely read over.
The content follows your file, never a standard syllabus.
Each day asks for something different.
The elective module case
A long case, where depth counts more than coverage. The trap is trying to address everything and going deep on nothing. We work on the structure of the response and on choosing what to develop.
The common case
A large case spanning several areas. The challenge is spotting what matters in a mass of information and not getting lost in accounting detail.
The shorter cases
Several cases in a tight window. This is the day where reflexes make the difference: there is no time to think about method, it has to be second nature.
Working backwards from your exam date.
Not your course notes: your written work. It is by reading what you produce that we see where marks are lost.
A candidate strong in taxation can lose heavily in governance. The hours go where the gap is real.
You write cases, your CPA marks them against a marker’s grid and explains what would have been credited.
In the final weeks, everything comes down to time management and writing discipline.
- We prepare you for the examination: we do not administer it and we issue no official results
- The support also covers the bachelor’s degree, the graduate diploma and the CPA Professional Education Program
- No group classes, even at peak times
$100 an hour, $950 for a block of ten.
The rate does not rise as the exam session approaches.
What candidates ask.
How far ahead of the CFE should I start?
Several months. Case-writing method is not built in three weeks: it settles in through repetition. In the final weeks, we mainly work on time management and prioritisation.
Who delivers the sessions?
Chartered professional accountants. That is the whole difference: someone who has sat the Common Final Examination does not mark a case the way a generalist tutor does.
Do you work on the three days separately?
Yes. They do not ask for the same thing: depth on day 1, spotting on day 2, speed on day 3. Working them together means preparing all three badly.
What are your pass rates?
To be confirmed We publish no pass rate until we can back it with a verifiable method and sample. We would rather state nothing than a figure we cannot defend.
Do you provide real exam cases?
We work from cases and scenarios, marked with you. We have no access to the official papers and we do not offer a mock exam reproducing the full CFE.
Is it only for the CFE?
No. The support also covers the bachelor of business administration, the graduate diploma and the CPA Professional Education Program. Many candidates start well before the final examination.
