What changes here.
The island concentrates a large share of the province’s private schools. Their entrance exams are particularly competitive, and preparing for the format matters as much as the content.
From one neighbourhood to the next, expectations and pace vary. The tutor works from your child’s actual workbook and marked tests, not from a generic syllabus.
Accounting support and CFE preparation are delivered online anywhere in Quebec, but in person in Montreal only.
Where our tutors travel.
- Le Plateau, Rosemont, Villeray and Ahuntsic
- Côte-des-Neiges, Notre-Dame-de-Grâce and Westmount
- Verdun, Le Sud-Ouest and LaSalle
- Saint-Laurent, Ahuntsic-Cartierville and the West Island
- Anjou, Saint-Léonard and Montréal-Nord
This list is not exhaustive. State your area in the form: if no tutor is available near you, we offer online tutoring at the same rate, and we tell you on the first call.
The most frequent requests in Montreal.
The number one request on the island, especially in Secondary 3 and 4, when algebra and functions get harder.
Many Montreal students grow up with several languages at home. Speaking follows, writing less so.
The island’s private schools attract thousands of candidates each autumn. Preparation often starts the previous spring.
Secondary 5 physics and chemistry, where the pool of competent tutors is thinner elsewhere than in Montreal.
Our Montreal students attend both the public system and private institutions, and go on to the island’s CEGEPs. We accompany students to the end of CEGEP, not beyond: university level is not our trade.
- Francisation: online only, here as anywhere in Quebec
- Accounting and CPA: online everywhere and in person here
- No group classes, in any of the three services
Your postal code does not change the price.
$45 an hour in your home, here as everywhere else, travel included. Online it is $40 an hour.
In your home, blocks of 10 hours at $430 and 15 hours at $600. Online, $380 and $525. Same terms everywhere.
What people ask us in Montreal.
Do you travel across the whole island?
Yes, to every borough. This is where we have the most tutors, so matching is generally fast, even in rarer subjects like Secondary 5 physics or chemistry.
Do you prepare for Montreal private school entrance exams?
Yes. Each school has its own exam: tell us which ones you are aiming for and the tutor adapts the work to that format. We have no connection with the schools and we guarantee no admission.
Is CPA support available in person in Montreal?
Yes, and it is the only city where that is possible. Elsewhere in Quebec, this support is delivered online.
Do you work with private and public school students alike?
Yes, without distinction. The tutor starts from your child’s workbook, course outline and marked tests, whatever their school.
Do tutors travel by public transit?
Many do. That is one of Montreal’s advantages: the network lets tutors cover several boroughs, which widens your choice.
